The Nolan D. Bunn Foundation, Inc. serves patients treated at dialysis facilities located in Raleigh, Smithfield, and Cary. Kidney failure and the resultant need for dialysis treatments is traumatic to the emotional and financial stability of each family affected. Actual dialysis treatments are usually covered by third party payors about 80%. However, there is no provision for the other needs of the patients not covered by this insurance. Monies are used for, but not limited to, the following patient needs:
- Medication
- Transportation
- Insurance Premiums
- Medical equipment
- Dietary Needs
- Utility Bills
- And Much More...

The Foundation stands alone regarding the services it provides to Kidney Dialysis patients. These patients experience no difficulties when being qualified for any needed services.
