Staining of the front door is the responsibility of the homeowner. Suggested stain is a gel stain that is formulated for use on metal doors. The color you use will depend on the brand you choose. The Olympic Brand oil-based gel stain color 41607 traditional mahogany seems to be the best match in that brand. Choose a color that is close to the existing color of the door. It is also suggested that you add a topcoat of satin finish polyurethane that is formulated for outside use such as Helmsman. When is trash and recycling collected? Tuesday mornings. Trash and recycling bins should be placed curbside no earlier than Monday evening and returned to the rear of buildings no later than Wednesday, 8AM. How much are homeowners' dues? As of January 1, 2007, homeowners' dues at The Village at Umstead Park are $160 per month. Where do I send my homeowners' dues? You can request a payment coupon booklet from HRW.
