Training
One-on-one classes are a great way to learn how to maintain or expand your website. These classes are very intensive and specifically tailored to your level of experience.
The flexibility of one-on-one classes means they don't always follow the syllabus, but the classes listed below will give you a general idea of what kind of things you can expect to learn. Many of these classes can be repeated to learn more on that topic. Classes are generally taught on-site in your home or office, so you will have access to your files and any settings from the class.
Introduction to the Internet $150
In this four-hour class, you'll learn the internet basics - how to connect to the internet, how to send and receive email, and how to find what you're looking for on the web.
Introduction to HTML $150
In this four-hour class, you'll learn how to create a basic web page using html, and some valuable web page terms . An internet connection and a basic familiarity with what webpages look like.
Intermediate HTML $150
Learn more about HTML, including how to make frames, tables, and simple forms in this continuation of Introduction to HTML.
Introduction to PowerPoint $150
In this four-hour class, you'll learn the basics of PowerPoint, and how to get started creating basic presenations. You will learn the different ways you can use PowerPoint deliver your presentation, including web page abilities.
Intermediate PowerPoint $150
Learn more about PowerPoint, including how to add visual elements such as clipart, and animation to your presentation. You will learn the different ways you can use PowerPoint to deliver your presentation, including web page abilities.
Graphics Manipulation $100
Wondering about the difference between a gif and a jpeg? Want to know how to get the most out of your scanner? Need to know the basics of photoshop? After this two-hour class, you'll be ready to add images of all kinds to your web pages. Access to photoshop or a similar program is necessary for this class.
